What's included in this service
The $40 price listed is the per-bundle charge for adding your own curly hair to Borabora braids for medium, middle-back length; it covers labor only and does not include the curly bundles themselves. Appointments for this add-in service are scheduled for 90 minutes. Any request for plus length carries an additional $50 fee applied at booking.
If you prefer salon-supplied curly hair, one bundle costs $75 and Borabora style typically requires three bundles for full coverage. When Ce Beauty Empire provides the curly bundles the $40 per-bundle add-in fee is waived, though you still pay the bundle price. Highlighting is $10 and mix-color is $15, added during booking if requested.
Choosing bundle amounts and color
For full Borabora coverage most clients use three bundles; one bundle is priced at $75 when purchased at the salon. If you bring your own bundles, count how many are needed for your desired fullness and length since the $40 add-in charge applies per bundle you bring. Plus-length services still carry the separate $50 fee.
Color choices affect final appearance and require an extra charge—$10 for a highlight color and $15 for a mixed color. These color fees apply whether you bring your own hair or use salon-supplied bundles and should be added at booking so we can plan matching and time. Color work may slightly change appointment needs.
What to prepare and expect
If you will bring your own curly bundles, arrive with them clean and detangled to speed installation; label bundles if helpful. Ce Beauty Empire serves Chicago’s Marquette Park area and surrounding Southwest Side neighborhoods, where many clients coordinate appointments around work, school, and childcare. Allow travel time from Marquette Road, Pulaski, or Cicero corridors.
Chicago’s four-season climate affects braided styles: protect curly add-ins in humid summers and wet winters. Aftercare can include gentle detangling and covering hair at night; specific maintenance steps will be discussed at appointment. The 90-minute booking covers the add-in per bundle work, but additional color or extra bundles may require more time and a separate booking adjustment.
