What's Included With Service
This Regular Fulani service includes professionally installed braids with braiding hair provided for consistent texture and coverage. Color accents or multi-color blends are available for added highlights (additional fees may apply). Price is $250 and the appointment is scheduled for 270 minutes; remaining balance is due at the appointment and accepted by cash, Zelle, or Cash App.
To ensure quality results, arrive with clean, blow-dried, product-free hair that is fully detangled; additional detangling may incur an extra service fee. A 15-minute grace period is enforced and appointments cannot be held beyond this time. No extra guests are allowed so the stylist can work in a calm, professional environment.
How the style is created
A Regular Fulani braid layout emphasizes a central row of accent braids with smaller, tighter side braids that frame the face; this listing specifies no curly add-in, producing smooth, uniform braid length that reaches the middle of the back. Braiding hair is used to achieve consistent thickness and length while the stylist monitors tension to protect your natural hair.
Clients can request highlight accents or multi-color blends; these color customizations are accommodated during installation but may carry additional charges depending on complexity. The result is a clean, uniform middle-back length braid set suitable for daily routines and events around Chicago's Southwest Side neighborhoods like Marquette Park.
Preparing and aftercare basics
Because many clients in Chicago's Marquette Park and surrounding Southwest Side coordinate visits around work, school and childcare, plan your appointment time accordingly and allow travel time. Arrive on time with hair clean, blow-dried, product-free and detangled; late arrivals beyond the 15-minute grace may forfeit time from your 270-minute appointment.
Aftercare focuses on scalp hygiene and gentle handling: use a light water-based moisturizer or spray, avoid heavy oils that can loosen braids, and sleep with a silk scarf or bonnet to reduce friction. For maintenance questions or color concerns, bring them to your stylist at the appointment—remaining balance and payments are settled then.
